Facility Operations Assistant 1
The Facility Operations Assistant 1, under the supervision of Thruway Maintenance Supervisors 1 or 2 or journey-level trades worker, works alone or as a member of a team performing a variety of maintenance duties. Incumbents operates and perform maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of self-propelled pneumatic and other equipment. Duties require medium to heavy physical effort, standing for prolonged periods of time, working in non-permit required confined spaces, at high levels, and will also require use of personal safety equipment, including respirators.

Minimum Qualification
Facility Operations Assistant 1 Must be 18 years of age or older. May need a valid license to operate motor vehicle in New York State.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
