As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing mentoring assistance and support in daily living activities as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and creating a positive and nurturing environment.
DSPs assist individuals in becoming involved and connected within their community, providing tailored support based on their preferences.
The client needs help with homework and eating properly.
This role is perfect for a student.
The role is located in West Nyack, NY.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE:
Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm Mentor and assist clients in their daily living activities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all clients and staff Build positive relationships with clients and staff Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for assisting those in need Possesses a friendly disposition with a positive can do attitude Ability to work independently and consistently exercise good judgment
Qualifications:
Caregiving experience required Bilingual Spanish/English fluency Experience working with individuals with neurodivergent and/or intellectual disabilities preferred Availability to work flexible hours Required:
